The answer is yes if its name is Borgogno and it continues to produce its delicious Langhe Freisa along with its severe Barolo wines made with grapes from historic vineyards like Cannubi, Sarmassa and Liste. Freisa is a ‘minor’ Nebbiolo with fewer tannins and a shorter lifespan and yet it is incredibly captivating for those who want an ‘easy’ summer wine.
