Castello Vicchiomaggio is in Greve in Chianti, in the heart of the Chianti Classico area just 20 km from Florence. It is an ideal location for exploring the major cities of Tuscany, such as: Florence, Siena, Pisa and Lucca. 

The castle is surrounded by two hectares of Italian gardens overlooking the Greve valley and the vineyards. Shaded by four centuries-old holm oaks, where you can relax with a good book accompanied by a glass of wine.

Inside the Vicchiomaggio Castle property there is a restaurant and a farmhouse. The restaurant has both an outdoor area and three large rooms framed by large windows overlooking the garden. The terrace of the garden during the summer also becomes a "restaurant room" where you can enjoy, al fresco, excellent traditional Tuscan dishes. The main hall is 50 square meters and has a beautiful fireplace decorated with pietra serena. Perfect for a dinner after returning from a day visiting museums, but also ideal to celebrate a special event.

The farmhouse consists of 8 suites located in the Canonica building, a traditional Tuscan country house from the late 19th century. The Canonica features a relaxation area which is shared among guests residing in the suites and a private garden overlooking the hills and vineyards of the Castle. There are also 9 partments located in the castle, the oldest part of the property. The apartments all have a kitchenette and are ideal for those looking for a holiday dedicated to relax and privacy.

For guests staying overnight at the castle, an infinity pool is also available, overlooking the vineyards and the opportunity to cool off in the shade of the olive trees.
