Villa Tiboldi of Malvirà in Roero
A place where you can spend pleasant moments of relaxation, immersed in the enchanting setting of the Langhe and Roero. Ten rooms with restaurant, garden and swimming pool immersed in everyday life, but happily isolated from everything else.
Brothers Roberto and Massimo Damonte of Malvirà winery, owners of Villa Tiboldi and of the surrounding vineyards, started the agritourism activity in 2003, when they completed the restoration of the eighteenth century villa which is right next to the winery.
Villa Tiboldi is made up of 3 buildings dating back to different eras: the main villa dates to around 1750 and was transformed from a simple farmhouse to an elegant country villa. On the upper floor there are two Suites and two Junior Suites; on the ground floor the reception, the cafeteria, and the winter garden, where breakfast is served. On the top floor there is a tower that enjoys a 360° panorama.
The small house dates to 1950 and in the past was used by sharecroppers as a dwelling, today it offers two double bedrooms and a suite.
It is in the old building that the restaurant is located, it has a capacity of about 50 seats divided into two rooms. The freshness of flavors and local raw materials related to the season make up the offer of the kitchen staff that with the staff of the room form a close-knit team of professionals able to get in tune with the needs of the customer. On the first floor of the same building there are two junior suites and one suite, all of them enjoy a wonderful view.
Damonte brothers produce white wines: Arneis, Favorita, and red wines: Roero, Barbera, Birbet, in an area of about 43 hectares (43 acres), the vineyards are located on the hill where Villa Tiboldi stands.
