Legendary Riesling (3): Alsace Trocken and Kabinett
There is a marked difference between Alsace Riesling and that of Germany. It is drier, has less acidity, even if it is always distinct given the nature of the grape, and its structure is more opulent. What they two wines share is a great minerality, extraordinary drinkability and unequalled complexity and recognizability.
Riesling has a long history in Alsace and some producers there are legendary and among the greatest winemakers ever.
