Made from Freisa grapes and matured in wood for around a year. The color is an intense, ruby-garnet and the aroma is articulated and surprisingly broad with notes of cherry and wild berries alongside floral and slightly spicy scents. The mouthfeel is taut and saline with tannins that are only barely noticeable and a finish with an excellent persistence. The grapes come from the hills within the Turin metropolitan area.
