This received the famous Parker 100/100 rating and it deserves every point being an absolutely amazing wine. It has a pitch-black and very dense color that will not allow for any transparency. The aroma is decidedly one of licorice and menthol with distinct notes of walnut husk upheld by some very intense spice, freshly ground pepper and juniper berries. The boldness and concentration of the mouthfeel is devastating, very sweet and oily and with surprising and almost extreme unbalances that create a sensual pleasure that wraps the palate and almost rapes it. This is decidedly a wine to meditate upon or perhaps enjoy together with a fine Cuban cigar.
