This vintage stood out more for its aroma than mouthfeel. The color in an intense ruby-red leaning towards garnet. The aromas recall cherries preserved under spirits, violet and an interesting whiff of tobacco. The mouthfeel has a nice, broad structure with flavors of sweet fruit that nicely bring out the tannins with a finish that is slightly smoky.
