An excellent vintage, the result of a decidedly good harvest from a season that saw some rain but also a lot of sunshine. The color is an intense garnet and the aroma is youthful with fine spicy and fruity notes up front with mentholated accents in the background. The mouthfeel is taut and nicely balanced with particularly velvety tannins and a good, persistent and fine finish.
