Limpronta of Ruché
Limpronta is the name of the Ruchè of Castagnole Monferrato by Montalbera, the winery of Morando family that represents the soul of the appellation.
The Morando family estate was created in the 1980s when they began to make important acquisitions, something they continue to do.
They now have over 170 hectares of vineyards divided between two Piedmont appellations, Monferrato and Langhe. Here we focused on the Monferrato one and on an indigenous varietal that the Morando is using with particular skill: Ruchè. The estate has 80 hectares of this variety, the largest part of the entire appellation.
