Giorgio Badin is a leading figure in Friuli winemaking. A tall man, he has always been measured in his ways, wise and intelligent. All these characteristics are reflected in his wines which are DOC Friuli Isonzo Rive Alte because his vineyards are right on the Collio border.
While a specialist with Pinot Grigio, sometimes he will surprise us with a variation on the theme and which this year was a Riesling that was simply amazing and totally unexpected. Here we present though a wine that in its new vintage is really good: the Sauvignon Sottomonte.
