Courage and tenacity
Mario Pala is the epitome of a true winemaker and his estate has over the years earned well-deserved success in Italy and abroad. The reasons for this are simple: hard work and tenacity in insisting to work with traditional grapes, even when others were focusing on different ones, and great respect for a land like Serdiana with its strong personality, rugged and difficult to tame. Thus aside from classic wines made from Cannonau and Vermentino, he also makes wine from the almost unknown Nuragus and Bovale grapes. These are wines with a definitive style and a technique that is efficient without being invasive, all geared to maintain the grape’s characteristics. The results are a compact range of wines that make this estate an example for the whole region.
