Legendary Riesling (6): Beerenauslese
The fact that these wines are made from ‘select’ grapes is evident from the moment they are poured into a glass. The sugar content unquestionably defines the structure of the wine, as evidenced by its density and bold yellow color. Everything seems more concentrated, from the aromas to the flavors. What is most amazing about these wines is their great freshness despite the sweetness. Most of the grapes used were attacked by Botrytis Cinerea (noble rot) creating a wonderful spectrum of aromas.
