The weather this year was similar to that of 2007 with the Merlot picked early while the harvest of the other grapes was excellent and regular. This has a full, ruby color with young, fleeting purple reflections. The spectrum of the aroma is clearly more complex with the usual fruity and spicy notes enriched by a pleasing citrus nuance that counterbalances the scents of dried fruit. An usual freshness in the flavor accompanies an austere mouthfeel of medium body while the finish is lovely with a diffused elegance.
