    A difficult and rainy year and while the aroma is for the most part excellently defined, what lacks is a bit of healthy concentration beginning with the color, a ruby-garnet but with little color on the edge. Graphite and roasted artichoke stand out in the aromas yet there are no reductions nor is there any bitterness. The finish is earthy but not rustic. The extracts and overall compactness are excellent.
