    A bright, intense ruby-garnet color. The aroma is initially spicy with vanilla and cinnamon before very young fruit notes set in, above all those of black cherry and raspberry. The mouthfeel is solid with a refreshing acidity making it agile and ‘crunchy’, dynamic and taut, with tannins that are evident but velvety and not at all drying. The close is dominated by alcoholic warmth.
