    Immense and perfect. This is a wine that made Italian wine history. It has an intense, garnet color and the aromatic spectrum is extraordinarily complex with notes that are balsamic, spicy and slightly smoky, together with scents of tamarind, sour cherry, black tobacco, licorice and dried fruit preserved under spirits. The mouthfeel is velvety with tannins that are still lively, tamed yet still youthful. The finish is very long and wrapping. A very great and unforgettable wine.
