    An intense, bright and very limpid garnet color. Fruity notes dominate a bouquet of aged aromas and along with those of black Kentucky tobacco, tar and licorice, scents of sour cherry jam and some berry hints. The acidity in prominent in the mouthfeel and fits into an imposing structure dominated by alcoholic warmth and sweet extracts. The wine has body and persistence and is truly, very great.
