These are absolutely the sweetest, densest Riesling wines and the ones that stand out the most for their sensorial boldness. This category is adored by wine lovers the world over who consider these wines to be greatest sweet wines on the planet. Although the wines are less complex than the Eiswein ones, they are decidedly more formidable and impressive in regard to their impact on the palate. The grapes are always manically picked by hand when they are well-raisinated and afflicted by Botrytis mold. The concentration is not only evident in the syrupiness of the juice but also in the extreme amplification of all the organoleptic characteristics.
