A Giro d’Italia in 80 wines (1): The northeast
February 20 saw the first of eight seminars dedicated to Italian wine and it included a tasting of ten great wines from Trentino Alto-Adige and Friuli Venezia Giulia.
It is always difficult to accurately describe an event for those who were not there to take part in the exchange of information, experiences and news. Most of all it is almost impossible to describe the expressions on people’s faces, the enthusiasm and joy in their eyes as they tasted certain wines.
For this reason, we will limit ourselves to presenting the ten wines that were offered to allow readers who did not take part to, in a small way, participate in the tasting that was staged under the supervision of Daniele Cernilli.
