Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, 20% ferments in cement vats where it also ages for around a year. The remaining 80% ferments in steel and then ages in French oak barrels, one third of which are new wood. The wine has a golden-yellow color and an aromatic profile that immediately recalls certain Meursault. Initially, the bouquet has citrus scents that are then followed by those of grilled bread and peanut butter. The mouthfeel is surprisingly fresh with an excellent acidity supporting its bold structure.
